DANCE

ADULTS

Our adults dance classes are all about fun, feel-good moves, focused on moving your body to the music and challenging yourself through dance. A high energy work out, we start with a quick dynamic stretch or dance warm up, and then jump straight into our weekly combo, with fresh new choreography every week.

Move your body, get sweaty, feel good. Leave the outside world at the studio door when you arrive, and leave the routine at the studio door when you go.

We offer adults open dance classes in commercial, contemporary, jazz and musical theatre. Open classes require some dance experience.

We also offer dance basics classes for those looking for a guided introduction to all the foundational aspects of dance, those trying dance for the first time, those getting back into dance or those looking to refine their technique.

STUDENTS

Our student dance classes, ages 3 to 17, focus on body connectivity, confidence and fun without sacrificing technical training. Students develop their technique and learn a variety of pieces, with style specific classes in jazz, contemporary, musical theatre and acro from JNR to SNR.

All students are encourage to attend our combined age group technique class to further their technical training, and build their dance community and comradery beyond their specific age group and class.

BALLET

ADULTS

Our ballet classes are a fun, fast paced and modern approach on ballet class. All classes include a quick dynamic warm up, barre and center work to build strength, flexibility and coordination. This 45 minute class will allow you to move your body in new and different ways, challenge your mind, feel the burn and get a bit sweaty.

We offer multiple levels of adults ballet class

Open is our signature class, providing challenging combinations and exercises. This class utilises some established ballet knowledge to engage with ballet technique, movement quality and musicality.

Basics is focused on the basic building blocks of ballet knowledge and technique to workout the body in new, fun, creative and challenging ways. Perfect for beginners, those new to dance or just getting back into ballet, as well as those keen to work on their basic technique or pointe work.

Barre is a ballet based strength and conditioning workout at the barre. Create long lines and a strong body with this high intensity, low-impact, head-to-toe barre workout. Fusing ballet, Pilates, yoga and fitness to work our smaller muscles groups through isolated, bodyweight workouts.

STUDENTS

Our ballet curriculum is Royal Academy of Dance (R.A.D) based and focused on building the technical and creative foundations of ballet. TSK is Kiama's only R.A.D specialised studio. Originating in the UK, the R.A.D is one of the largest and most influential dance education and training organisations in the world.

Curated by our R.A.D trained ballet teachers, our student streams move through the R.A.D grades. Our TSK curriculum gives students additional milestones and training to enhance their R.A.D experience.

YOGA

FLOW

Flowing and dynamic classes, balancing strength and flexibility, pairing movement with breath, for resilience, release and regeneration.

Focused on basic, effective stretches and key core and balance work.

Perfect for those wanting a gentle, warm workout to set your day in the right direction, wake up the body and reset the mind.

YIN

60 minutes of deep, restorative, melty, slow-paced stretch & meditation class to finish your day and massage your connective tissue.

A slower, therapeutic, restorative way of moving, Yin focuses on our deep connective tissues, ligaments, bones and joints. Based on Chinese and Taoist principles, Yin works through long, restorative holds to stretch and deepen into our bodies. Let the day wash over you, reduces physical tension and release emotions and stress through the openness and release of Yin.

Our Yang to Yin classes start with a flow and melt into the second half of the class with a deeper, slower stretch.

STRETCH

Stretch and release with a strong, juicy, 30 minute stretch, influenced by the long lines, flexibility and mobility created by dance, ballet, yoga and Pilates. Become your most supple, flexible, mobile self, challenge yourself to some deeper stretches and stretch all the aches and pains of the day away.

The perfect addition to your movement and workout schedule to slow down, unwind and release.

PILATES

Build up some fire with our strong mat Pilates class.

These energetic classes are designed to strengthen and sculpt. A technique focused mat Pilates sequences, with influences from yoga and ballet. Includes a good warm up, strength and conditioning work, some burners, a little bit of cardio and a juicey stretch to cool down.

Perfect for all experience levels, we will guide you from the mat, empowering you to move with your body's needs.
