COVID safe policy
Gyms and indoor recreation | COVID-19 Safety Plan
-
Staff, members and visitors to the studio are not to enter the premises if unwell.
This applies to all staff, students, parents, siblings and visitors.
It is imperative that ANYONE feeling unwell or showing any symptoms DOES NOT come into the studio and stays at home following the health advice. Members are able to cancel class bookings up until the time the class starts without penalty.
Please stay at home and notify our staff if:
You have flu like symptoms
You have been tested for COVID-19 and are awaiting results
Someone you have been in direct contact with has flu symptoms or is awaiting COVID-19 results.
Symptoms included are:
Sneezing
High Temperatures
Sore throats
Coughing
Runny nose
If you are experiencing any of these symptoms we encourage you to do a RAT or PCR Test.
Anyone who is presenting with these symptoms during class will need to stop class and return home. For students, parents will be called to pick up their child. They will wait in the reception area to minimise contact with other students and faculty.
If a staff member has contacted The Studio to notify us that they are unwell, we will let all parents know via email and in the event that the class cannot be covered, we will notify parents of the cancellation of classes.
If a member or staff member does test positive for COVID-19 they must not come to the studios and report their RAT result to NSW Heath/Service NSW.
Free Rapid Antigen and PCR tests are available at testing facilities. You should get tested if you are a close contact, have symptoms or have been instructed by a health authority. Rapid Antigen tests can be purchased from local pharmacies.
