Student Uniform

A consistent uniform lets our teachers see alignment and placement clearly, keeps everyone safe, and helps every dancer feel part of the team. It's also the first step in learning studio etiquette.

  • BALLET

    Black leotard - wide strap, matte fabric - we recommend the Energetiks Emery Leotard

    Pink tights - in soft semi-transparent matte material, theatrical pink (note convertible stockings are best for JNR + to allow for shoe changes)

    Pink ballet shoes - in canvas - we recommend the Capezio Child Hanami Ballet Shoe

    Ballet bun - hair should be pulled back neatly and securely

    Optional: Black skirt / shorts

    This uniform option applies for MNI students

    Studio t-shirt OR black leotardd

    Please note leotard should be worn for acro classes

    Black shorts / tights

    Jazz / Musical Theatre: Black jazz shoes - we recommend the Energetiks Jazz Shoe

    Contemp: bare feet

    Neat, secure ponytail

    Optional: Studio jumper
